Bidrage med feedbackAfter reading about Far Breton, I made my way to the Madison farmers’ market in hopes of trying their kouign amann. Unfortunately, they sold out quickly, so I made my way to the bakery location in hopes that I could find some there. Lady Luck was on my side~ My husband and I grabbed a kouign amann, cinnamon roll and a ratatouille galette and I have to say, we are completely enamored! We think this is the BEST bakery for French baked goods in WI hands down as well as the best kouign amann I’ve ever had (we’ve had pastries from Paris and throughout France to NYC to CA and everything in between to compare). Luckily for us, our daughter lives super close to the bakery, so I foresee many trips in our future. We’re coming back soon for the croissant noir and the quiche. Coffee is simple but good and strong; would love the option for espresso maybe in the future. Very friendly service. 100% recommend!!
Highly recommended. Just a Texan passin’ thru on way to Iowa then Nebraska b4 return to caldron, but hands down, you do not want to be the fool that is not client of these amazing bakers. Scone, mini quiche, cinnamon roll top class.
Absolutely stellar pain au chocolat; the spiced sugar buns are divine and the koign amann is extremely blessed. I don't think this place could make a bad pastry! Definitely worth the trip.
Went for the first time, the staff was amazing and very friendly! I wasn't sure what to get and they helped me learn what everything was and helped me pick out some delicious treats!! I will definitely be going back!!
Great place- most friendly staff I’ve ever met and the sugar buns were awesome. Never been to a bakery that didn’t have dry products until I came here. All the goods were moist and freshly baked and they even let me try one without asking
