Honestly, do not go if POC. They are EXTREMELY rude and not worth your time. I felt uncomfortable the whole time because of how mean they were. Never coming back, it was an awful experience, especially since it was for my sister's birthday.Food: 2/5

Before you come here you need to know that they AUTOMATICALLY add tip/gratuity to your bill regardless of your party. It is somewhere in the 16-17%. I was with only one other person. This is NOT said anywhere on the menu once you get it.Once you’ve understand that, know that the service here is really iffy. The young servers are fantastic (I would say the bussers and not the servers). The problem is the upper management, or rather, the owners of the establishment. They are stern/rude, only give short answers and they just want you to place your order.You will pay a high price for a low portion sized meal and for a Korean cuisine this is actually unheard of and a slap in the face as a fellow Korean. The banchons (authentic korean side dishes that automatically come with the meal) are significantly bland with the exception of their kimchi.If you want a more authentic, well respected establishment, I recommend Cafe Korea in Carmel/Fishers area. Same price range if not more, however, you will find the service to be exceptional and the food to be satisfactory and the portion size definitely well met.Mama’s Korean restaurant near Lawrence/Indianapolis area is even better than this place although don’t expect the service there to be exceptional.Yes this nation is facing inflation. Yes cost of living is hire. However this doesn’t constitute short portion size meal for the high price you are paying and a low-average service.Read the other reviews here carefully and consider your option. Go somewhere else.

One of the only good Korean bbq on the south side of Indy. It is pretty comparable to Bando. The food comes out very quickly and the service is always amazing. I would recommend the all you can eat menu since you'll be spending the same amount for the regular menu.Food: 5/5

My husband and I LOVE this restaurant. The food is delicious. The restaurant is always very clean. The service has never been a problem for us. We have gone about half a dozen times now, and they never disappoint. We just ask 이모님 what we should order. She never steers us wrong, and she even helps us with our bad Korean. We love the family atmosphere, and the entire staff is always very welcoming and kind to the two of us. We are so appreciative of their food and the generous portions. We were there yesterday and had stir fried squid and pork belly and the beef rib hot pot. Yummy!! 진짜 맛있어요!

I see so many reviews on the waitress lady being rude to POC or non Asian customer. I’m telling you they are the same with Asian customers? My first time to this restaurant was on my bday which I went with a lot of friends including POCs. She was nice and friendly to us bc I spoke korean when I’m not Korean and the service was good. Which was the reason why I went there again with my two friends, where the same waitress lady seemed like she was a different person despite remembering me from last time. She acted so cold and unwelcoming which even my friends noticed. The food was underwhelming compared to the first time. One of my friends didn’t like her service which led to her no tipping (me and other friend tipped above 18% . And that made the waitress lady mad then she started giving us lecture about how we should always tip at least 15% bc this is America ?Go to Cafe Korea in Fisher!
