Handel's Homemade Ice Cream - Greenwood

The ice cream was absolutely amazing, and there was a nice variety of flavors. You walk up to the window to order, and you can sit on a bench by the side of the building. The woman behind the counter was slightly grumpy.

This is really good creamy Ice Cream. We had the Blueberry Cobbler. Ruby loved it too.I’m glad we picked this place in Indy to try. We definitely will come back. Top-Notch.

I frequented the original location in Youngstown. The Chocolate Pecan is not offered here, which was popular in Ohio.They have a version with carmel, not the same.Best ice cream in town, would be 5 stars if they carried the original flavors that other locations do.

Loved my waffle come with 2 big scoops I had Carmel praline, chocolate almond, and my friend had a close version of rocky road, I can't remember the name. Lol. Great service, great ice cream, and lucky us, got there at the right time with minimal line. But they are worth whatever line you have to get to the window.

There is a reason why there is always a line at Handles! Handel's has the BEST homemade ice cream in Greenwood, IN. Their portions are huge I get a small cone every time and even that has 3 big scoops! Fairly priced for the quality and portions! They also have a 4 scoop sampler which is fun if you want a variety, ice cream sandwich's and you can order pints or quarts to take home.They have a couple of rows of bench with umbrellas to sit when its warm outside. Other then that it is limited, no indoor space and parking is limited. Cheers!
