Grannyhands - Greenwood

If you are near Greenwood, SC, and want some good soul food, this is the place to be!! Fried chicken, BBQ ribs, banana pudding, collard greens, sweet potatoes, ? oh so good!! ? But don't skip the hamburger steak with onion gravy or the baked mac cheese!! ? YUM!! The baked mac cheese may be the BEST I've ever tasted! And I've tasted a lot in my lifetime! Go check them out! I'm an hour away, but I will make the drive there to have lunch again soon! ?

This restaurant was horrible. Would not recommend to anyone. We went on a Sunday around 1:30pm. We paid before we sat down $71 for 3 adults. We found a booth and put the receipt on the table. We went to the buffet. There was barely any food on the first bar. You can tell they needed to refill everything badly except the broccoli casserole. I think it had just came out. The second buffet I guess was supposed to be seafood. Nothing was on it but 1 crab leg and a small pan of baked chicken. I think there was a beef roast as well. They had a section in the corner for fried chicken. Nothing was there but chicken breast and what looked like 2 crab cakes. The salad bar had like 5 items to put into making a salad. They did have banana pudding at the salad bar. Then for the other dessert, they had one cake out in a pan. I can't even tell you what kind of cake it was but it was not good. Got back to the table, nothing was there but the receipt. I ask my sister where are the drinks and silverware. She had to go back and ask where paid for our food. They told her to get drinks from a random table up front and I guess gave her some plastic wear. They could have said something about that when paid. The drinks were saturated with sugar. They make their own drinks. Now I love sweet tea, but their tea was 5 times sweeter than McDonald's. I couldn't drink it. They had a figure it out approach to their customer service. For the service and the food, it should have been $5.99 a person and that is being generous. Food taste was mediocre at best. I felt like we were scammed when I left. I have never ever in my life been to a restaurant this horrible. I had leftover thanksgiving food at home. I could have provided a better meal for my sister for nothing with my own hands. I'm embarrassed that I ate there.

Fried chicken was ok Mac and cheese was oily aka cheap cheese. Ribs were crunchy self serve except for drinks and waited long time for drink finally had to go up and ask.

Awesome food!!!If you where to get together for dinner at your grandma's house this is the food you would expect to be there.
