Pelton Arms - Greenwich

I visited this restaurant to see the band "Run for Cover" with a group of six people. We ordered six rounds of drinks, all the same, but were surprised to find that each round was a different price, ranging from £25 to £40. The venue had a fantastic atmosphere and the advertised bands seemed promising. The other customers were friendly and seemed to be enjoying themselves, with no signs of trouble.

This pub is fantastic. The landlady is lovely and seems to know everyone who comes in. It's a great local pub with friendly staff and customers. The live music on the August Bank Holiday weekend was top-notch and both days had a lively atmosphere. We had delicious pizza on Sunday. Can't praise this place, the management, staff, food, and customers enough. Can't wait to go back. Also, I've passed on your regards to Cornwall.

On Two for £20 Tuesday, we were disappointed to find out that the steak advertised on their Instagram was not included in the promotion. Despite giving them the chance to apologize for the false advertising, the bar staff refused to engage with us and just kept saying no. As newcomers to the area, this experience left a bad impression on what could have been a pleasant pub.

Turned up early for a gig and had some food before it started. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Great selection of food

Excellent value for money so much so that I’m in two minds about leaving a review as I’d love to be selfish and keep this hidden gem to myself! I’m not massively picky about using a shared bathroom, so long as it’s clean (which it always has been). Lovely antique furniture in the rooms and a very comfortable bed. They even have a basic kitchen area available for guests which is also very clean and safe. Oscar was very attentive, as were all their staff. The pub in itself is great Red Stripe on tap and great bands. Lots of very thoughtful little touches, including ear plugs if you fancy an early night.
