Great customer service with good food. I loved my chicken, potato salad, and green beans.

Honestly, it just wasn't that good. I ordered the Pork BBQ with greens and yams. The pork was very dry, the collard greens looked and tasted more like turnip greens and the were just okay. I was pleased with the service. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but the building it self had no A/C and of need of some updating which the owner said he was in the process of doing. Myself and my 3 sons went there and no one was able to finish their platters. I'm hoping my experience was an adoration and not the norm for this establishment.

This building has been a restaurant of some type of and on for 30 years. Currently, it is take out only, and due to not having a working air conditioner, it's hot in there. They have a jar on the counter for donations towards a new unit. Also, the area outside the kitchen is not very orderly. However, the food is great! I was hungry but didn't know what I wanted to eat. So I stopped by just to see if they had something that was calling my name.Well, they had lemon pepper fried turkey wings. I've deep-fried turkeys in the past, but by the time i finished cooking the bird, the wings were overcooked and no good to me. However, these wings were very tasty and left me desiring more! My two sides were collards and macaroni with cheese. They were also tasty!By the way, I placed my order and went to my car to wait for them to cook the food. Within a few minutes, a gentleman bought my food to me and was very pleasant. I don't know if he's the owner or not, but he also greeted me when I was looking over the menu. I'll be back there.

I got the chopped bbq pork with seafood Mac and rutabagas. This is some of the best food I have ever had. Great customer service and amazing food.
