Cornerstone Bakery - Greensburg

My wife and I stopped for a quick donut. It was 10 o'clock on a Friday so several varieties of donuts were sold out, but we anticipate that would happen. I got a maple glazed custard filled and my wife got a blue berry lemon donut. Mine was easily in the top 5 best donuts I've had in my life, and I've eaten a lot of donuts! The folks were super friendly and the price was very reasonable, too. You owe it to your taste buds to stop here for a donut!

This was a new bakery for me I had never been to it. The donuts are so good they are so fresh and warm when you first get them! My favorite is Bavarian cream with maple icing on top. They also have very good biscuits and gravy also we tried too. I would recommend Cornerstone Bakery for those donut lovers out there!

Cornerstone bakery is the #1 bakery I have ever been to from all over the country. Seriously not an exaggeration, if you are familiar with longs in Indianapolis their yeasts are similar to that. I can't name a winner though. Everyone has apple fritters and that's whatever but cherry fritters are my go to here. Amazing, don't know how they do it. I have waited in the parking lot for an hour before just to get some when I got there right at opening. Worth it, I have driven through the floodwaters of Decatur County hills to get there on a Saturday morning. I do all I can to educate everyone I can in Indianapolis how this is the best donut place that there is. They do take cards now if that's an issue as well. I love driving past Dunkin and they have no line since they aren't good and getting here and they have a line but fast moving. Not sure how dunkin stays in business next to Cornerstone, they also have a very friendly staff.
