Big Guys Diner - Greensburg

Permanently closed. Drove all the way from out of town in Kentwood and discovered this thing is permanently closed period not a very friendly clerk at the station.

The most greatest place to eat. Every thing is freshly cooked and you couldn't ask for friendly service. Don't even waist your money on fast food. This place is where you can eat food like you're mama always cooks.

For a truck stop diner, Big Guys is the place to stop and try if your passing through the little town of Greensburg, La. The staff is friendly but, this is a truck stop so expect a little grouchiness every once in a blue moon. They have fresh made to order breakfast and a great breakfast special of eggs (however you want them), grits, hash brown, meat of your choice, and biscuit or toast plus a coffee, juice or soft drink. The pancakes are to die for. They sell fresh donuts as well. The hamburgers are big and you get a combo with fries and drink at a good price. Between 2pm 5pm is 1/2 price on burgers. They also do a daily lunch which is pretty good for the price. You get a main meat, veggies, dessert and a drink for $7.99. Pretty filling. They also do pizzas and fried chicken. I recommend the pot roast fries, french fries topped with pot roast and gravy. Yummy.
