Bidrage med feedbackGreat dinner spot with friends! Awesome food with tons of options and quick service. The complementary chips and salsa are always full at the table, and so are the drinks. Great drink menu and great prices to go with it!
Service was bad. The lady had an attitude for no reason. Food was mediocre. A Steak burrito I ordered ended up being bits of steak wrapped up in processed cheese. Absolutely awful. There are much better Mexican restaurants in Greensboro. Don't waste your money or time going here.
I’ve been missing this place since the moment I moved from Greensboro earlier this year. An absolute staple of the community, San Luis is the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I now live in a much bigger city, yet I’m struggling to find a new spot that matches the quality of San Luis. The service is an absolute 10/10. Everyone there cares about giving you a memorable experience. Incredibly kind servers and hosts. They all deserve raises. The food is ridiculously good. Dine-in or takeout, you can’t go wrong either way. My go-to Mexican meal has always been enchiladas rancheras but they put love in EVERY dish. Fundido, fajitas, tacos, steak—whatever you get, it will be delicious. I’ve tried many items off the menu and have not once been disappointed. Miss this place so bad. Ate there way too often during my days at UNCG. If I’m ever in the area again, San Luis will be my first stop.
First time at San Luis I. This place is nice and cozy but not as upscale as San Luis II. They brought me a huge basket of chips and some tasty salsa. I was also asked if I wanted spicy salsa which was served in 2 bowls with a spoon. The red was very spicy and the green tomatillo salsa was very tasty. I ordered the Carne asada served with beans and rice. There was also a grilled green pepper(mild) and a grilled onion bulb, avocado salad, pico and an orange wedge. The sweet tea was very good. They also gave me a choice of corn or flour tortillas. There was no way to finish off this food. My dining time was early evening and they would have allowed me to order lunch which is extraordinary. There were many college students there who probably did order the lower priced lunch offerings.
My all-time favorite Hispanic food place. I started eating here in 2001 when I found out they had an all-female waitstaff (at that time). I have never had a bad meal here!
