Bidrage med feedbackMy friend and I came to this restaurant today as we love the food. We both ordered the crawfish fettuccine however my friend felt that she needed extra noodles and I felt that I needed extra sauce. This request has been fulfilled on previous occasions. This particular time we were told by our waiter Jaedean that the manager in the back said we could not get extra noodles and sauce even though we were willing to pay extra for it. Jaeden really tried his hardest for us. Cameron ended up coming out and had a horrible attitude stating that the extra noodles could not be fulfilled and was refusing to sell them to us. My friend and I were taken aback not because he refused to sell to us but because of his attitude. Needless to say we won’t be back.
I recently came in today. Myself and friend came in for the second time as we enjoy their crawfish fettuccine. The last time I came in I ordered a side of extra noodles as the sauce sometimes is heavy and less noodles. I paid the last time and offered again to pay for extra noodles this time. They informed me they could not fufill this. I did inquire why as this was done before and I was more than willing to pay for extra. I received attitude from Cameron stating he would not fulfill this request and told me if he did state this before he is more than certain he told me this could not be done again. I will not be coming back to this establishment only because I felt as if I could have been approached in a better way and with respect as I had and showed respect on my Jadean was so pleasant and made sure we had everything we needed. He is the best thing the establishment could have to ensure customer service is at its best! Cameron not so much!
Blue Denim is a hidden gem! From the top-notch food and drinks to the attentive staff, they made my best friend's birthday celebration unforgettable. Highly recommend! Parking: It may be best to park in the parking deck that is about a 7 minute walk
I love me some Cajun/creole food. Let me tell you, I have not found a place to make authentic crawfish etoufee in years. It was sooo good. We also got the duck nachos, which were honestly a little lack-luster. They were six tortilla chips topped with duck and some kind of cream sauce, with the chimmichurri underneath. The chimmichurri was really good but without that the nachos were bland. My husband got the crawfish fettuccine which he said was amazing. We also both got a couple different drinks, but pictured is the big south margarita, the jeansboro mule, and the creole bourbon smash. All really good. The service was slow, not sure why, but wasn’t a huge deal. The place is very tight and cozy, we sat by the window and my back was against the reception desk (or whatever it’s called) which was unusual but was fine for me. They light a nice little candle on the table which is cute. Also, when trying to decide whether to order the etoufee, I asked her how spicy it was, and they brought out a sample! Never heard of a restaurant do that before which was really awesome. We didn’t do dessert, the only dessert options were banana pudding and bread pudding. But I’d definitely come back here again. Vegetarian options: Not a good place for vegetarians (although it’s a great place for pescatarians). Parking: Being downtown, there’s no parking lot for it. There are random small parking lots around the area (which is what we did) or you can find street parking. Kid-friendliness: Would not bring kids here.
Had a party of 3. One person ordered a salad, which took about 20 minutes to get to the table. She informed the waitress that she had an emergency and had to leave, so she no longer wanted the salad. Waitress came out later and informed us that we would be charged for the salad, which she also boxed up…we left it on the table. The salad was not worth the $14. The lettuce was wilted and it had about 3 shreds of cheese on it. The other two of us ordered the gumbo and the étouffée, which was spicy but not flavorful. Our waitress offered us bread to accompany our meals, but forgot to mention that they charge for that as well.
