Just left the drive thru, waited 10 minutes for our food they didn't bring our drinks. So I went inside, and began to tell the employee standing at the literally counter who was not in the middle of taking an order. She cut me off and told me to calm down that she was doing too much at once. I said ma'am I'm just telling you I need my drinks yall forgot. My receipt says Lynn D took our order in the drive thru. She needs to learn better customer service. Food is nice and hot though, thanks to the rest of the staff!
Ask to pull around while my food finished. I complied. Say for 20 minutes. Finally walked inside only to see them filling a very large order for the window. When u said I was had been waiting was told but that's Doordash.. I DO NOT CARE.. Then the like smart guy said week ur food is right here. Still ..... if u don't understand maybe my money is not good enough. If I return I will not move my car until my order is done
The building exterior really needs some upkeep. Some of the trim is rotting and the paint is peeling. I have not been inside a LJS since the 80s, but I imagine the interior is as worn as the exterior. However, the gal at the window was very pleasant, helpful, and cheerful. My fish tacos were exactly what I was craving.
I would love to review the food atmosphere but unfortunately every time I come, whether for lunch or dinner, weekday or weekend, the dining room is closed. Long John silvers is not a food that easily is eaten in the car. For the last two years it has been like this. I tried to be patient during the labor shortage but every other restaurant in town has managed to open their dining rooms with consistent hours.
