Sumneytown - Green Lane

We were patrons of the former Sumneytown Hotel which we loved, and recently visited the newly renovated version (for lack of a better term). Great Service, Meh Menu, Horrible Vibe First time back here since new ownership. Walking into the bar it reminded me of the old place, which was cool, then got taken back to the dining room. The dining room's aesthetic seems like the owners didn't know what to do so just slapped old photos around all the walls. I have so many fond memories of the Sumneytown Hotel, and thanks to the Jamison family, can look forward to many more! The renovation/restoration is absolutely stunning. Thank you for keeping some of our nostalgic favorites on the menu although I look forward to trying everything!

Worth the wait for sure!!! The food and cocktails were incredible!! Definitely suggest the pasta dishes! The chef has a great sense of flavors! Atmosphere and service (Jess) were perfect! The scotch egg is definitely a worthwhile starter! Great job Sumneytown staff!! Will be back for sure!!
