La Mariposa And Margarita House

I am hoping our waitress was new...very friendly but otherwise all I can say is WOW, your business is in Trouble! My husband and I both ordered combo plates....part of our order came out (and it was not even the hot portion of our meals) now we can see the rest of our combo plate sitting in the pass window waiting for a runner.... Waiting... waiting... Waiting.... Waiting...other tables that sat after us and ordered after us are getting their food. Waiting... Waiting... Finally we flag down our waitress and my husband points to the plates at the runner station that have been sitting for now about 20-ish minutes in the window and she realized she forgot to bring us the rest of our combo orders. She apologized and went to get them. Should we have asked for any discount, dessert, any compensation? Also... they actually bring the card reader to the table stand there while you are trying to look at the bill and wanting to figure out the tip, which I do not care for at all.

This was the first time at the la mariposa restaurant the service, and the food was so good. Food has good favor and big portion of it. Would go and have dinner again.

When we walked in I asked if we could sit outside I told the hostess they're would be 7. She said we would have to sit at 2 separate tables because they couldn't push them together. I told her a table for 6 would work. She seemed annoyed. They placed us on a metal table against the wall directly in the sun. The other outside tables have cushioned chairs in the shade. Thankfully the gazebo was next to us so half our table went there to get relief. I feel like the hostess set the tone for the rest of the staff. Our waitress wasn't the friendliest at first but then ended up warming up to us and gave us good service. We stayed for about 2 1/2 hours (in that time definitely spent enough money) . And only 2 of the other outside tables were ever occupied. My issue is we have previously been there before and sat outside with tables pushed together. Mind you they were not busy when we got there or the entire time we hung out(this was midday). The drinks were great as usual. And we will return but being felt like we were an inconvenience from the start was disappointing.

First time tonight and had an Excellent experience. The food and service by our waitress Ariel and the rest of the staff were outstanding, they were fast and very polite

All employees were rude we sat there for more then 15 minutes and didn’t get our drinks! We told the manager and nothing was done employees were talking and pointing at us worst service ever! We need the old employees back who were nice and attended to their customers! They need better customer service for sure!
