The Lion - Great Yarmouth

On Sunday, January 23rd, a group of 8 of us celebrated my husband Chris's birthday at this restaurant. We were greeted warmly and even given a birthday card for Chris. The food was delicious and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, despite being very busy. I would give the Lion a perfect 10 out of 10 and express our gratitude to them.

We initially tried to eat at our first choice restaurant but it was full, so we stumbled upon this charming little place while looking for somewhere else. The staff was friendly and accommodating, especially with our hungry child in tow. They provided quick service and the portion and quality of the Sunday roast were superb. The menu had a variety of options, not just typical fare, with fresh vegetables and tender meat. I would definitely recommend this place and will likely return the next time I'm in the area.
