The Grayling - Great Yarmouth

First visit of and very disappointing. No staff at bar to order, long wait for Chef at Carvery, long wait for other food order. Staff were too busy chatting to each other in the kitchen today to worry about customers. In all the visits...I have had here I have never experienced this. Not only that the Beef was tough, chewy and hard to cut. On informing staff, there was no apology, only a ‘Well no one else has said that’ Not sure if I will visit anytime soon.

Today's lunch was at The Graylin in Great Yarmouth, a hidden gem with plenty of parking. The staff were warm and welcoming upon our arrival. We were able to scan and order from our table, or visit the bar to place our order. Joe stood out with his professional knowledge and friendly personality. We opted for the steak and ale pie with sides, as well as the recommended medium-rare rump steak. We left with empty plates and satisfied appetites, impressed by the quality of the food. The question of whether we would return was met with a definite yes - quality certainly matters at The Graylin.

Came with friends again as last time was excellent. And this time it did not disappoint Food was great staff friendly and efficient we will be coming back on valentines night as menu looks great.

The staff greeted us warmly and the seating area was comfortable. The children's food was tasty and the roast was cooked perfectly, with a variety of vegetables to choose from. All the staff were helpful and we would definitely visit again. The prices were very reasonable and there was plenty of parking available.

We went to this restaurant for a birthday celebration the other night. Our group included individuals with learning disabilities, and I cannot express enough gratitude to the staff, both in the front of house and in the kitchen. They made one of our gentlemen's birthday truly special. The service was friendly, helpful, and simply amazing. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. This is definitely our preferred place to bring our group. We highly recommend it.
