Storm House Cafe - Great Yarmouth

My wife, daughter and myself popped in to this seafront cafe for a cuppa but decided to have a meal This cafe is certainly value for money where a large breakfast of 3 sausages, 2bacon, 2 hash browns, 2 eggs, beans, tomatoes and mushrooms with toast was only £8.20 (as of 5/12/2023. Stopped in for a Sunday breakfast while daughter was at D16 around the corner. The choice was excellent. I settled on a breakfast baguette and my son a breakfast with black pudding on the side. The place was busy but the wait time was fairly short. Portions were generous and while it tasted great , I couldn’t finish mine. It set us up for the rest of the day. Would definitely return when next in the area.

A great little find for those looking for “Good” food on a budget. Seems to be frequented by quite a few locals always a good sign.

The food is good cafe food at very reasonable prices. Staff pleasant and attentive. However, the experience was spoint by the excessive noise of wooden chair legs constantly being dragged on a hard tiled floor which reverberated around the restaurant making it difficult to maintain conversation. This could easily be rectified by fitting felt pads to the bottom of the chair legs (available from any DIY outlet). I do hope the owner reads this, and considers a solution as I can't believe that they are not aware of the problem.

Loved this cafe, they serve fresh vegetables and salad, Mu husband had an all day breakfast and I had sausage and mash. Definitely will go again. Very friendly place.
