Amazing roux for crawfish ettouffe and seafood gumbo! The batter was just right with the fried sway fish and shrimp. Staff was warm and welcoming!

I’ve been here several times. I took my wife their for her birthday lunch and they even made beignets(which are TOTALLY awesome). They make you feel welcome and the food is always great. I personally recommend the red beans rice and the lemonade...

So I went to Mom today and must say that I was a born and raised Louisiana mother and in almost all 64 parishes. Mom's the real deal. I was a bit skeptical yesterday because there are so many people they say they serve “gumbo” or something “etoufeee”, It does not end the same version. Today I went into everything and ordered the crustaceans and greens, my husband ordered the catfish and shrimp dinner, we also ordered 2 slices of homemade cakes. I'll give up Mom's three thumbs. Very good and for all my colleagues Louisianer, a cook is from New Orleans, and the other cook is from Breaux Bridge, so you have Creole and Cajun in a bundle. #yummy #thought Iwashome #willbeback

A group of Louisiana locals ate here last night to celebrate my husband's birthday. I called since we were seven and the restaurant is pretty small. We had a great time and the food was amazing. They dragged two tables together for us and we ate seafood gumbo, shrimp etouffs, shrimps and greases, crushed chicken, catfish and shrimp powder. Everything was made to order and was wonderful! They even gave us bread pudding and sweet potato cake for a birthday dessert. It's a great little restaurant hidden in a half empty mall. We will definitely come back! If you're from Louisiana, it tastes like home.

Everything is made for order, which sometimes means waiting a few minutes, but it is worth it. The catfish bites are my way, but I tried the cancer etouffée for the first time today and finished my plate. It had only the right amount of spices and it was just on point. I love their macaroni and cheese; it is SO creamy. I'd eat here every day if I could.
