The service and food were excellent. However, I was disappointed that neither the men's nor women's bathroom had a changing table for my grandchildren. The staff was unable to accommodate us with a bathroom that had one, so we had to change them on the floor of the deck. It is surprising that a family-friendly restaurant does not have changing tables available. There was plenty of space in the women's bathroom to install one. I expected more from a Gaylord establishment.

We have been coming and staying at the Gaylord Texan and eating at Old Hickory steakhouse for the past 8 years. Our waiter John Balduf made our night this time. From the beginning to the end of our meal, he was an outstanding waiter. He made us feel extremely special on our anniversary and was super attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. He went above and beyond and we will be back possibly more than once a year to see him!
