Bidrage med feedbackWe used to dine at this restaurant when we visited Grande Prairie. Now that we live in the area, we were looking forward to going back. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The portion sizes were small, and my pork chops were only 1/4 inch thick, dry, and tough. The only good part of the meal was the cake. I might consider returning just for dessert, but that's about it.
Meet here regularly for early morning breakfast meetings. SErvice is good, food is very good, seating selection is very good.
Came here tonight for dinner. Thinking the food would be comparable to the west side location. Boy was I wrong. Wife ordered fish and chips. Got the $1 extra home fries. Nearly fried black yet hard and uncooked on the inside. Pretty sure Captain Highliner...was in the back cooking. I could have had fish sticks at home. I had the fried chicken. Wasn't bad by any means. But not spectacularly good either. The mashed seemed old. Crusty on top and over cooked. Will not come back. Don't let the name fool you. Majors Westside location has some of the best food in gp. But not the north side.
The restaurant does not comply with COVID regulations as there is no distancing between tables or groups. However, the food is delicious.
The breakfast at this restaurant is decent, but nothing really stands out as exceptional. It almost feels like it's just for show. The sibling who owns Majors Tractor Jack at Paradise Inn, however, serves the best breakfast in Grande Prairie! It's all homemade and delicious, with three thick slices of bacon and homemade potatoes. They also have a food truck in Grande Prairie called Tracker Jack's, where you can get a truly authentic homemade meal.
