Almost everything in the place is brought in from P.E.I. from mussels and lobsters and the potato fries to the very distinctive hot sauces they sell from the Island. We ate twice during our recent visit to Grande Prairie and both times we were impressed with the quality and flavor of the food. On one lunch occasion, three of us had their seafood chowder and thought it was superb; I even declared it my best-ever seafood chowder! One evening, we returned for dinner and several of us had their fish and chips which were excellent and their French fries were especially tasty. Their mussels were also very savory and succulent. Both times we were there, the restaurant was full, so we know that others have recognized this seafood bistro as a gem that's far from the sea.
Huge portions and excellent food! They even have some craft beer from PEI! I had the daily pasta special. Huge portion of pasta and I was able to substitute the salmon. Very relaxing environment and service was top-notch.
Great service and food, being from the East, I appreciate the fresh fish they bring to GP. My only recommendation is that I wish the dining area could seat more people.
We went to Grand Banks for a casual meal and were pleasantly surprised. Fish and chips were good and excellent portion size. The fish tacos were also very good. Fried oyster appetizer was very tasty
The lobster macaroni was perfect. It was very nice. One could also buy it from freezer to take home. The staff are very nice. Not many tables and you can buy various seafood
