We went as a group of 10, no problem getting a table, we called in advance. We had to wait a bit for our food, but the wait was well worthwhile!
Azilda is a little town just a short hop from Sudbury. On a trip to revisit Windy Lake Beach, we stopped for dinner on the way back. This restaurant is just off Highway 35. As well as pub fare like pizza and wings, the menu has some great meat and fish dishes prepared in interesting ways. I has the chicken wrapped in prosciutto, stiffed with spinach and feta, my husband had the pork chop. Both delicious, with flavorful, not heavy, mushroom sauce. Worth a stop if you are driving north or if you feel, like getting out of town. The unique decor, sort of modern rustic graced with art by local artists makes this a feast for the eyes as well as the palate.
The food at this restaurant is excellent and affordably priced. The chef is willing to accommodate any requests. The wait staff is polite and friendly. I recommend starting with the arancini balls, which are delicious. The veal parmigiana is especially exceptional.
We were 10 at our table, the service was very good, not too long a wait even if we were 10. We ordered appetizers and mains but too full for desert. Their burgers, Capra polo chicken is to die for, pasta dishes were excellent. There was not one complaint other than we were full. I would definitely go back.
