Bidrage med feedbackAlways EXCELLENT! Service is unapparelled when it comes to hospitality and attentiveness. Bryan our server is so gracious and accommodating. Of course the plates were gear as usual. The parmesan should was a real treat. Thank you Ruth's Chris see you again soon.
Phenomenal service, fantastic food and the best martini I’ve ever had! Bryan you are the very best, right down to every detail! My favorite professional server in town and my favorite restaurant in Grand Rapids. You have my ?
Went to GR for a college graduation and we didn't know the area at all, ended up walking to Ruth Chris for dinner... They were packed with reservations... But they offered us to sit in the bar area in big soft red chairs with access to a full menu!! We had a GREAT waiter, who made sure we were taken care of... My husband and I split a fillet... Mashed potatoes and asparagus... The steak was probably one of the greatest I've had in my life... I think we could have eaten it with a spoon it was so tender!! I can no longer drink due to an illness... And I loved margaritas... Soooo I asked if I could get a virgin margarita... He said ABSOLUTELY!! I was so excited... Because everywhere else... Turns me down and says no!!! It was so delicious... We left there so happy!! Tipped out our server a bit more- but he really worked to please us!!! I wish I could personally think hi but we never caught his name!!!
Great service and ambiance, but sadly, the food did not live up to the hype. Based on the restaurant's reputation (and prices), I had high expectations, but honestly, I enjoy steaks I make at home much better.
My wife and I came to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The food, service, and surroundings were all excellent. My only critique is with my cowboy ribeye. It was prepared perfectly (medium rare) and the flavor was excellent. However, it was excessively gristly. To the point where it was very difficult to slice in areas of the cut where that shouldn't have been the case. Again, this had nothing to do with the preparation and seasoning, both of which were right on point. But I do feel that for an almost $80 menu item, and given Ruth's Chris' claim to fame regarding their prime beef, the quality of this cut was sub-par. Which for a fine dining restaurant, equates to a failing grade in that regard.
