The Melting Pot - Grand Rapids

I enjoyed spending my birthday at the Melting Pot. We made reservations as recommended by the restaurant and were promptly seated upon arrival. It took over a half hour for my alcoholic drink to arrive and to see the wait staff after they delivered sodas to everyone else, but once they got going, things moved at a good pace. The five of us each had the four-course dinner, and the experience lasted about three hours, which is approximately how long the website said it would take. Each course was delicious, with the cheese course being my favorite. We sprang for the charcuterie board and it was well worth it. The atmosphere is nice as you have privacy due to the way the booths are set up. We couldn't even see the other guests and it felt very cozy.

Good food,expensive good staff. .would go again .charging extra for protein it should be included with the 108.00 for two people.

Our server was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and provided top notch service!

My friend and I were served during the winter storm and our waitress was the absolute best! We weren’t sure if they were going to close or not, but the GM was willing to serve us if we were willing to brave the roads. I was celebrating my birthday and the Melting Pot definitely made it a night to remember!

A wonderful experience. Visually, entering the restaurant is very welcoming as are the staff we encountered. The delicious food was delivered in such fashion that we could really appreciate every course. The coffee is the best we encountered since Hawaii. I could go on forever about how much we enjoyed our brief visit and look forward to returning upon our next visit to the area. Merry Christmas to you all.
