Marcona On Lyon - Grand Rapids

This is a perfect addition to the neighborhood! Loves the unique food, delicious cocktails, unusual wines, beautiful furnishings and amazing staff! Bonus... it's close enough to go here. The menu changes, this last visit I swallowed the garlic chicken. I wish I had a photo of the bottles of wine we ordered the next time. Note: Can be used Get her suggested app on her waiting list.

That was my first visit, and I'll be back! The food was excellent and our server was accordingly attentive. All in all, it was a beautiful experience.

I visited both for dinner and for brunch and enjoyed every moment. Every dish is so well thought out and beautifully presented. The flavors are different from any other restaurant in Grand Rapids and are likely to be difficult to find restaurants in other cities that have such a variety of internationally inspired dishes within a location. It felt like I was eating on holiday in several countries. All employees are very pleasant and well informed about what they have to offer. Honestly, I love how unique Marcona is on Lyon and look forward to my way through the whole menu (even if I imagine it will ever change seasonally).

Fabulous service and food! Feel so fortunate to have gotten there for a beautiful end to a gorgeously sunny Sunday! Had the sea bass as well as the clams and mussels. We could not have enjoyed it more! And we split a piece of the divine orange pistachio cake w chocolate granache....perfect!

Marcona on Lyon feels like a hidden jewel in Grand Rapids. Situated in a quiet corner. We started with an app and a spear. Baked cauliflower and a kind of lamb sausage. Both were very good. Next we ordered the braided lamb and the Mediterranean bass. The lamb is probably one of the best meals I had in a while. The sea bass was wonderful. Our server was so friendly and a pleasure to speak. She was very familiar with the menu and was very helpful. We enjoyed our time there and can not wait to go back and try more.
