Angel's Thai Cafe - Grand Rapids

I have enjoyed my visits and found that building up their own shower is a solid option if vegan. they order with paper sheet and they circle what they want. I'll be steamed tofu (fried I think has ei) and choose my sweet, whether I'm nuts (peanut, cashew and I think mandeling) next choice (optional) ingwer, garlic etc., next choice between reisnudel, white or roasted rice, sauce thai sweet and spicy is vegan, that's what I had and finally worries it was service has always been attentive, but I visited the late lunch at 2:00 a.m.

My sister favorite Thai restaurant in grand rapids, so my last visit went to lunch. sis was over the moon with the food, but I live in a real eating city with a huge thai community and did not find the food at angel 's to be very authentic. it was tasty and plentiful, but nothing I could not reproduce in my own kitchen. service was dirty and I had to ask for basilikum (in a Thai restaurant, no less) if I could find our waitress, but we were there at 22:00 a.m. and the staff was not particularly interested in us. the curry was good and well seasoned (I ordered a 3 on the one to tenth warm scale and should have gone with 5). not safe, but I think there was a piece of bark in my vegetarian pad thai curry. also here I am not sure, but if they are vegan, be careful here I do not think that the server know the difference between vegetarian and vegan, as some of the vegan dishes included. a strange observation: almost every menu item contains green paprika. I was shocked at a $35 lunch bill (no drinks, no dessert, little more common appetizer) and thought that was a bit above the tip for two dish noodles. in the did I would probably give angel two kites if not for my sister's enthusiasm for the place updated by the previous review on Thursday, 05. september 2013

This place is my favorite Thai restaurant in GR. Your intake is super fast and the food is consistently delicious. I really appreciate that the vegetables placed in their dishes are fresh, add to the taste of the dish, and are consistent every time. I usually order the peanut curry noodles with chicken and would highly recommend!

A simple walk from the big hotels. The food is rated 1-10 hot. I like it sharp, so I started at 8. I had to need chili paste and sauce to bring it up to 10, but nevertheless the quality and price was for area. Great waitress, too.

The first time in here. So delicious and amazing service. Truly lives to the name. both in taste and in staff
