Gordo's Bbq Grill - Grand Prairie

Yesterday we had Gordo's smoke a brisket for us. DELICIOUS! Tender and juicy with awesome flavor. It has so much flavor we don't even have to add BBQ sauce to eat it. We do our own smoking every once in a while but love having Gordo's do it for us because the end result is incredible and we don't have to watch a smoker all night. We order take out from them every few weeks. I love the brisket and sausage. I love their ribs too, but due to availability they haven't had ribs for a while. My wife always gets chopped beef sandwich combo and it has so much meat on it she makes two meals out of it. The staff is always friendly and smiling. I don't know what other reviewers problems are but we LOVE Gordo's and will keep supporting them as long as they're around.

Well let's start with the establishment itself this is mainly a message for the owner Clean up !!!!!!! I can't stress that enough to you Please.! Now let's go to the food everything on picture looks great presentation looks great just no flavor at all, none at all. Another piece of advice to the owner taste your food once in a while I swear I had Corona and I couldn't taste anything, everything was cooked well just no flavor at all even on my beans It’s the simplest food to flavor and still no flavor. The bathrooms were also very horrible there is BLACK MOLD on the ceiling toilets are disgusting if that looks bad imagine what the food says about the restaurant. The employees looked very unhappy there like mad or upset. I’m surprised the the Grand Prairie health department hasn’t visited this place. The place NEEDS BIG IMPROVEMENTS PLEASE GET IT TAKEN CARE OF!!! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20

I love this place!! The chopped brisket is my fav!! So glad I found this!! Update 4/29: I read a review about how they will say open and they are closed. Well that happened to me today. Drove 30 minutes for disappointment. I walked back to my car a worker comes out and gives someone what appears to be to go orders. I asked if they were open and she said “not right now” and ran off. Meanwhile, I went next door to Zavala’s and the line was out the door and I must say it was worth the wait! Come on Gordon’s do better, I always recommend y’all to people.

Holy man, this place is amazing.? the smoked chicken is incredible. very juicy and melts in your mouth. The turkey sandwich is also amazing. one of the best I had in any BBQ operation. the sides are big, okra, fries, sweet potato friries. some of the items are currently not available for shipment, so please patient and aware that they are the sign on the door. it is almost as if they have returned in the time when the service in the restaurants was earlier great. they still practice the old fashionable. Why can't we be so good in dallas? prices are also phenomenal.
