Bidrage med feedbackThis place is a time capsule! It's beautiful! Unfortunately we were not happy enough to stay here, but we came for brunch and it is the best brunch in town! From food to the environment. Has a cute closed terrace with stunning views. It's the most precious lodge I've ever seen. If you cannot reserve a night here, I definitely recommend having at least some food here. A magical place. I can't wait to come back.
My partner and I were here for a night and we thought this place looked magically online. Man, we were wrong. Cool place for lunch and views, but not for something else. We were in a dark, stuffed, dingy cabin. To pay $260 for a night in a cabin, which basically is a college intestine room is pretty ridiculous. The microwave was broken, the shower was dark and tiny, the bathroom door could not close the whole way, because it was cramped, and parking on a first come first serving base, so we had to park around the bend and the hill down. Couldn't see any mountains from our cabin. Not to mention, we thought we had moved to the cabin at night, because there were no lights or illuminated signs that told you that the lodge was ahead. Dinner at the lodge was $65/person and it was not worth the price. Make yourself a favor and steer yourself from the moose. On a positive note, the view from the lodge was beautiful. The staff was pleasant. Lunch was delicious, including the turkey sandwich. I'd go back for the view, but not for something else. Not worth the price. All right.
I wasn't here, but I ate two meals here and it was amazing! I had the stuffed French toast, bacon, toast and eggs for breakfast. Everything was great and the French toast was fabulous!! The bacon was also some of the best bacon i?ve had EVER, delicious and thick! Jennifer the hostess and Rick the bartender were brilliant and attentive!! The burger was excellent and took two seats to finish it. Thanks again and we will see you next year!
We weren't in the lodge... just came for lunch with a group of 10. No one in the group said that food is so great. Several ordered the Eggplant sandwich that was burned, dreadful, and bland. The Pulled Pork in the sandwich tasted like it came out of the can. The waiter wasn't so friendly either. Here, too, we were a group of 10, and he was visibly upset when we asked if we could divide the group into three separate controls. I know that this is not the easiest for a waiter, but I have seen that this comes together for even larger groups with ease (in other restaurants). The waiter we had was visibly mad on this request to divide the check into 3 groups. The views in the restaurant are fantastic, that's safe. I can't comment to the hotel, but the restaurant is a bit a racket... super high prices for what you get, food/presentation not so great, unfriendly waiters. I'm sorry, that was my experience. At least we enjoyed the society and the views.
Restaurant review only. Easily the best food in town. The chef really knows what she?s doing. Menu had both classic and more interesting choices, all nicely put together. Dinner is a Prix Fixe, at 65 per person and well worth it. Solid bar bites menu too if you?re looking for something more casual. Much better than anything else around.
