Mamma Maria's - Grand Forks

Yesterday for the vatertagsessen there was a great experience! the service was great and the food was great! I had the plucky pink pasta dish and my wife had the tortellini. the garlic knots that come free before the meal were amazing. a lot of luck for the new owner/n!

Friendly service. Facility was clean. Generous portions. Cannelloni and Stuff Shells were not unappetizing, but they were average. Garlic knots were delicious and fresh. Sausage, potato, and kale soup was good. What really makes this place a must visit is there cheesecake, which is made in-house and offered with various toppings. Fantastic New York style cheesecake!!!

Just okay. Garlic knots were old and hard. Soup was tasty but lukewarm. Salad was delicious. Entrees were lukewarm and chicken was tough. Mediocre waitress brought to go boxes and ticket while we were still eating. We ordered dessert anyway but we didn't order the second drink we wanted. Even though she got a good tip, she could have had an excellent tip if she had been at least a solid server. Won't be back because it just wasn't worth it. Local mom&pop loses to big name chain.

They’re lacking in attention to the customer. They watch TV and miss that a customer is there. Their attention is not on what the customer says re: orders, type of noodles and lightness of sauce three times by the time the order is right the food has to be left there. As this is a good place to go before seeing a movie. They are getting better getting orders right but I would like to see more attention To details and the customer instead of watching TV.

Went there with a friend first the bread was raw then her soup was cold then she ordered the trio and two of the dishes were cold and the other only warm so they brought another soup while she waited and that was also cold and my spaghetti was cold both dinners looked like yesterday’s meals heated in a microwave they finally made new meals and they looked better, they were hot but I won’t go back again, the quality is horrible since new owner and that soup looked awful. I was very disappointed
