La Corne d'Abondance

My colleague is a regular guest in la corne d’abondance and so I stayed and had dinner in the restaurant as wel. we took the daily menu that was very nice. the owners of the hotel/restaurant are very friendly and helpful to their wishes...

Stops for a night on the logis en route to the south of France. really friendly family-run hotel and restaurant. her English is the first advice, but they do not stop her if they want to practice her French in a friendly environment. the food was super .really good eating with friendly relaxed service the quality was much better than we expected the children's dishes were boiled to fresh bark burger in ciabatta light pink as ordered and the fish burger was a fresh filet of fish in a Ciabatta bee (it came with cheese that was our only quibble.) first price thanks for a great start!

Many of the choice in different forms / courses depending on the size of the appetits. everything was very well cooked. the steaks were tender, the fish well cooked with a beautiful sauce. the wee was good and at normal restaurant prices, more appropriate. the atmosphere was good with a...end view over the beautiful city square in the sunset. good choice of the music in the background (unusual, but beautiful, if they like bluesy jazz) and there are also the occasional live jazz band. we're coming back.

Nous étions à l'hôtel et nous avons donc pu profiter du repas au restaurant de l'hôtel.Nous avons très bien mangé.Profiteroles énormisimes.

Le restaurant est en plein centre de bourgtheroulde et facilement localisable. Un grand parking à proximité permet de se garer sans soucis. D'extérieur le batiment propose une décoration un peu démodée qui se renforce une fois entré dans le restaurant, mais là n'est pas l'essentiel. Une fois passé l'étape d'analyse du décor il est tant de regarder la carte. Les formules proposées sont cohérentes. Je me suis arrêter sur le menu gourmand (Tarte de truite et rouget + brochette de canard au cidre + profiteroles) et du cidre du coin pour accompagner. J'ai été agréablement surpris, les plats sont bien dressés sans être chichiteux, et je n'ai rien eu à redire sur leurs qualités. De plus, service agréable et aimable ce qui mérite d'être souligné. A conseiller donc !
