Today, I visited the Granby location to order a milkshake. It was a specialty shake that was not listed on their website, so I had to go in person to order it. When I arrived, there were no other customers, but the staff appeared busy behind the counter. I waited patiently, but was not acknowledged when an employee answered the phone in front of me. Strike one. The employee continued to take the caller's order while I waited. Strike two. Two other employees came to the other register, still not acknowledging me, and began to work on something on the computer. I assumed they would take my order after finishing, but they both walked away without helping me. Strike three. Frustrated, I left the store and called to speak to the manager about my experience. To my surprise, the manager was one of the employees who had ignored me. When I explained what happened, the response I received was, "Oh yeah, sorry." It felt insincere and dismissive. I had previously visited this location without any issues, but it seems like the culture has changed. If the manager thinks it's okay to ignore customers, I will probably not return after this experience.
