Schmugglerhof - Grafenau

The Schmugglerhof is my first-class guest house in Grafenau. From staff to mega-kitchen... always consistent quality... Full plate... Appropriate prices. The best ambience... leaves behind every visit... Because we're just lunch, I can't assign any points.

It is good that there are Google alone for this kind of feedback. The smugglerhof is wonderfully situated in the middle of nowhere. Looks comfortable and friendly from the outside. However, our welcome was the opposite of the invitation. They are too late, so we were greeted by a blond service in the most conceivable way. I looked at the clock. It was out in ten minutes. They wanted to be here at 5:00. I obviously gave up my order with this lady. No, at 5:30, I answered. That's how we agreed. She didn't react to it: "Everything so. You're too late. And you have to go earlier. The table is reserved from 19 15 h. I'll get you at 7:00. That's it. We just didn't leave right away because we were confused and there were few alternatives. The food was good. Even the blonde could not be seen with us anymore. Nevertheless, this impression has left traces. No one should be treated. As our nine-year-old son said, Papa, the woman was unfriendly. As I said, the rest was right.

We were there with the camper on the parking lot and in the restaurant. Parking place very obliquely forward, already needs proper wedges. The night calm. Suppliers and school buses arrive in the morning after 7:00. Didn't bother us. Electricity is possible. Toilet use in the restaurant. Restaurant and food are amazing. Rich, inexpensive and good. Very recommended.
