Il Menestrello - GOVONE

The restaurant bar is located in a lovely square in the centre of Govone, 2 steps from the castle. It is definitely more bar than restaurant, in the sense that it is a valid place to make aperitif but definitely poor to eat. The staff was kind and correct in telling us that there would be a little waiting for lunch.

I was amazed by the choice of gin they offer in this small place. Unpretentious, yet you can choose a gin tonic with bows: there were more than 8 gin (Italian and international to choose from, as well as two or three tonics to match and then you could choose to add various spices (lavender, pink pepper, juniper, etc. Many larger and more blasphemed premises do not provide such a wide choice. and then I like the care in offering a service that goes beyond the basic. Good.

Very comfortable to stay after visiting the castle, friendly service, food and drinks ok, adequate price.

Good aperitif and sandwiches, in the center of the village. Prices are average, friendly and helpful staff.

We came to see the castle of Govone, right around lunchtime and had seen the opportunity to try this place. 2 cutters, 3 beers of which 2 small and 1 average, finally 3 toast for everyone. I count total 40€, not bad and we have lunched with real taste and pleasure that has recalculated us well! Thank you!
