Vigaarda Avenyn - Gothenburg

The burgers are really good and when you’re there it feels like you’re in a nicer fast food place. The decoration in the restaurant was very plain so it is not place where you want to sit and talk for a long time. It costs a bit more than going to a regular fast food place. Overall it is a good place to go to if you’re looking for a little fancier burgers.

First impression I had was: oh...fancy fast food place swedish style? You pick up your tray and queue and order food and drink...and then wait till your order number pops up. Yes, it feels like in a huge burger chain in that moment. But the food was very nice. I tested the special at the time of visit: deer burger. Seemed pricy but was really very good. A few more fries would have been nice. Ambient is nice too. Check out the 2nd floor. Try and see if you like it.

If you want great burgers, this is your place. They’re not amazing, but better than most. Okay prices and often not too long line to order.

We always go here for a quick meal, but it’s always fresh and nice here! In case you are a SJ-member (swedish railway) you will get 15% of your bill, every time. Worth a try!

Vigarda has a lot going for it. First, the food is really good with a huge selection of burgers and LOTS of vegetarian choices. Second, it's pretty affordable compared to most places in Sweden. Third, it's busy with a lot of different groups of people, couples, etc. Finally, it also has a bit of a bar/pub atmosphere so you can eat well and have a really nice social time as well. Good selection of beers on tap.
