Bidrage med feedbackIn this small medieval town partly known because Picasso bought a hone here in 1906 we had an amazing meal. Crusty bread slices with tomato purée, beautifully seasoned; lamb that had been slow roasted for 17 hours; filet of beef with sides; and peasant soup with lamb. Dessert was a honey concoction with crunchy biscuit. I’d go back here again in a heartbeat!
Don’t miss this tiny restaurant just off the plaça major. It is a very fine example of Catalan cuisine: honest, exquisite local product and friendly service. Let yourself be pampered to a delicious meal right in the heart if the Pyrenees!
Peak season, small group of 5, restaurant fully booked, are conditions that does not seem to be promising upfront, but outcome has made even more positive my review. Regarding food, simply extraordinary. Quality product, better cooking and service that takes care about you. Local recipes with careful presentation. Difficult to choose from their attractive menu, so sharing is a good decision in order to taste as much as possible. From crudites salad, to boletus cream with shrimp, foie with caramelized apple, all was worth to taste. Then, main course was also surprising. I 've never tasted other pig trotters better that this ones with boletus. Takes you to heaven. Duck magret (both styles, grilled or foie) were also outstanding. Not to miss the dessert, either fruit chocolate fondue, cheese cake (nothing to do with traditional ones) or their wonderful local cheese table. Book in advance and go there to enjoy. What you pay is yet another reason to dissipate any doubt. Congrats to the whole staff.
Un restaurante increíble en el pequeño pueblo de Gósol. Dispone de una carta muy bien elaborada pero lo que mas me sorprendió fue su calidad-precio. 100% recomendable y la atención fue excelente. No dudéis si estáis por la zona. Gracias
