Bidrage med feedbackLovely atmosphere but mediocre service. Right in the center. The worst part was having a piece of meat on top of my vegetarian flammkuchen which annoyed me so much. One of the waiters apologized for it but this unfortunately does not make up for it. I would not recommend this place to a vegan or vegetarian person. Besides, the options are very limited for them. It is also overpriced for the taste.
Right beside the Brauhaus Goslar . They offer the Gose Beer from the Brauhaus (see my review). Beside this and some major brands they have a Barbarossa . It 's a dark Pils what surprised me. Normally German Dark is Dunkles or a Bock. Great. I had a pork loin steak with onions, gravy and Fried potatoes. Was delicious. The guests at the next table ordered cream puffs with cream. It was so big and I tried to took a picture of it to show You the XL Version. I think the four young ladies were very happy with it. So I had a nice evening sitting outside with one or twoooo Barbarossa beers. Update: If You late and hungry, it 's better to call before go! It 's not save that they serve food after 9 PM.
Great location on the square with friendly service. Unfortunately the food can only be described as dreadful! I would not be surprised if it all came from a packet and was only heated, not cooked, on site. Avoid unless nothing else is open and you are really hungry!
Tried a local speciality, schnitzel with blueberry sauce. Schnitzel could be just a bit more tender, but everything else was very good indeed. Fast and friendly serving
Die Butterhanne has nice breakfast options which you can enjoy while listening to organ music coming from the church next to the restaurant. As for the food: the fried eggs were fresh, the coffee was good, they also had healthier bread options, which is a...nice touch. On Sunday morning the church bells ring so often and so loud that it's hard to make conversation, but I guess it's a part of the ambience. We enjoyed our breakfast there
