Latitude Thirty Three - GOSFORD

The worst restaurant I have ever been to! Firstly, even after the club confirmed our booking, they couldn 't find our table. We then ordered our food at the bar and we were asked would we like the entrée brought out first, which is fine. Our entrees were delivered without any cutlery and when I asked I was told You have a little spoon to eat your oysters with . I asked for a fork. The cutlery was delivered to the table in a WET paper napkin. Half way through our entrees our mains were delivered and when I asked if we could finish our entrees I was informed that, We are short-staffed and you need to have them now. I sent them back and another waitress came back with them!!! Since when is being short of staff our problem!!! I went to find some DRY napkins and couldn 't find any so I took 3 linen napkins off a table. During our mains we were told we can 't use these napkins because they would have to charge us a detergent cleaning fee! When the waitress was cleaning up another table she dropped what looked like cream or yoghurt on the floor, huge hazard, and when we left it was still there! The service in this so-called restaurant is the worst we 've encountered. The staff are rude and incapable of running a restaurant. We didn 't stay for dessert or coffee because we refuse to spend another cent in this horrible place!!!!!!

Lunch. Went to Latitde 33 for a special lunch with friends. Room is inside Gosford Sailing Club, but reasonably separated from club bar area, Menu is fairly limited, one of our party is vegetarian and only had the choice of on item in both entree and mains menu. Menu tends to be fairly upmarket not what I expect from a restaurant in a club. Waitress was pleasant and attentive, but not overly so, just right. I thought Food service was very slow, although others in our party didn 't think it too bad. All agreed food was excellent. Perhaps a little pricy but worth it for a special event. Won 't be rushing back, but will consider it when next special event occurs in the area.

Excellent service, but food very poor.. Both my partner and I decided to have a night out and selected this restaurant for our fine dining experience. We had excellent service from the man on the door, the barman who completed my membership and the waitress who took our order. After selecting our wine and meals we were left waiting for nearly 1 1⁄2 hours for our Entrée.. During this time we were offered a free bread roll (great idea) The entrée was received and was outstanding and everything I had hoped for. But, then, another 1 hour wait for the main meal!! The meal arrived and I was looking forward to tasting it. How DISSAPOINTED I was... My meal and my partners had so much salt it was overwhelming. A total disaster.. After complaining to our lovely waitress, we were given an apology and the offer of a free desert.. We don’t eat desert and kindly declined the offer. I then received the bill and seen that we had NO offer of compensation for such a POOR meal. We then went to pay for our meal of $145 and still NO OFFER of compensation.. NOT even a 10% reduction (which would have been appreciated).. We had all intentions of having a night out there and having a few drinks, but that effort in the restaurant soured our night and we went home. I have even joined the club, but will probably NEVER EVER visit again. I don’t like giving bad reviews online, but after how poorly we were treated, I will find it hard not to tell people of this experience.

Used them for catering once for a work lunch and was impressed by the size of their sandwiches and the filling that was provided.
