Poor ambiance and taste Service is too bad Not ready to serve food and side dish as requested even though it is available

This is an affordable restaurant with average food quality. We tried 2 thalis and 1 chicken dish, which were decent in taste. However, they need to work on improving their service and cleanliness. With limited dining options in Yercaud, I would consider this restaurant to be slightly above average.

We decided to dine outside of the resort in search of some local cuisine. While exploring, we stumbled upon this restaurant that had good reviews. We initially tried the hotel restaurant, but it had limited options and couldn't even provide curd for the rice for my child. However, they were accommodating and went to a nearby shop to get it for us. The food was just okay, but there is definitely room for improvement in terms of cleanliness. It seems like they struggle to maintain the restaurant due to the seasonal nature of the place and lack of customers. With a little more investment, they could attract more guests to the hotel.

Based on its appearance and atmosphere, this restaurant may not initially catch the eye of most visitors. However, we were recommended to try it by a hotel staff member during our stay. The menu features typical dishes, but the taste is delicious and flavorful, especially for non-vegetarians. It is a highly recommended dining spot for those who enjoy spicy food.
