Romano's Macaroni Grill Palm Valley

Despite making a reservation and calling ahead to let them know we were celebrating a retirement, we still had to wait to be seated at the restaurant. Even though the restaurant was only half full, they crammed our party of seven into a small area not suited for that many people. After sitting for 15 minutes without being served, I had to go to the hostess to inquire about our table. Eventually, a server who was not assigned to us ended up taking care of our table for the rest of the evening. The food was decent, but it took a long time to be served, leaving us feeling frustrated. We had ordered a cake for the retirement celebration, but it was never brought out to us; instead, we received just the check. When we spoke to the manager about our disappointments, all he said was that he had noted the cake on our reservation and did not understand why it was not brought out. This was the second time we had a similar experience at this location, and it has left us uncertain if we will return.

The service at the restaurant was friendly but lacking in information. I ordered a Caesar salad for my meal after appetizers, while my husband ordered a pasta dish. Unfortunately, my salad had to be remade because the dressing was forgotten, resulting in a delayed arrival and missing croutons. Despite mentioning this to our server, no apology or alternative was offered. I ended up eating just the lettuce and cheese. Surprisingly, we were still charged for the incomplete salad, and the manager never checked on us during our meal.

We experienced a lengthy delay in receiving our drinks, and the lobster ravioli we ordered was cold on the inside. However, the salmon and artichoke dip were delicious.

This location has changed for the better in the last 6 months. Having management and staff that care really shows at this location.

Although we made the reservation and called forward when we celebrated a retirement, we had to wait to take place. I could understand if they were busy, but half of this restaurant was empty. They seemed to press our table from seven into an area that was not made for many people, again while half the Tdee restaurant was empty. I had to go back to the hostess and ask if someone had to cover our table because no one had come to our table after 15 minutes. Someone who shouldn't be our server helped us all night. Food was fine, but it took a long time to get it and we were quite frustrated at that time. We had ordered a cake for retirement and they never brought him to us, just the check. Was very disappointed when we talked to the manager and everything he said was that he had a note on our reservation about the cake and didn't know why they didn't bring it. That's the second time we had such an experience in this place and I'm not sure we're going back.
