Mimi's Cafe - Goodyear

We are from out of town looking for somewhere to eat. Every other breakfast place in town had a long wait. We came in and we're greeted with smiles, no wait, great food and great service. Had a filling breakfast. Would totally recommend this place and will be coming back in the future! I even got a to-go cup to finish my lemonade.

Oh my gosh, has this place changed for the better!!! I had been going to this location since it opened. I remember when the Lowe?s next door was still a cow farm, that?s how long I?ve lived here. It was my absolute favorite place to go as a kid with my mom. As an adult I used to take my daughter here for lunch dates just like my mom and I used to do. But a few years ago the food, staff, and restaurant went downhill so bad that we just stopped going. It had been a few years since we ate there when today we decided to stop in for brunch. I WAS SO HAPPY TO SEE THE RESTAURANT RESTORED TO ITS FORMER GLORY! Gone were the layers of dust and grime on all the decor, and in its place was a shiny and clean restaurant!!! No more grouchy staff, but all new nice friendly ones in their place. And the FOOD!!! Oh my gosh it is such a night and day difference from a couple years ago when they served old, cold, gross food. Everything was absolutely delicious!!! I can?t tell you how happy it made me to see this old place restored!!! The new management and staff really turned this place around. I was so happy when we left I called my mom to tell her!!! We used to come here to celebrate birthdays, graduations- you name it. So it was like a part of our childhood was gone when it went downhill. I know how silly it sounds but it made my day seeing the changes today. I?m so happy for them and I really hope they continue to thrive!!!! GREAT JOB MIMI?S STAFF!!!!

We tried the pre-made thanksgiving dinner this year. Was very impressed with the amount of food, and quality if the meals. I think this was well worth the cost of the meal. Saved the headache of cooking this 2020 season. Would recommend if you don't want to cook or just to have a backup meal

Slow service, poor food. No social distancing, booths seated back to back. Waited forever to order, 3 servers, not busy. No one ever checked on us. Offered drink refill after dishes cleared away, never before. $3.29 for a soda is ridiculous. Quiche crust was soggy, around the edge was tough like it was warmed in microwave. Potatoes were not cooked through. Chicken waffles was fried, formed chicken, not actually real fried chicken. And it was burned. Scrambled eggs were burned and they folded the burned part into the middle so you didn't know until after you took a bite. Will never eat here again.

A good breakfast place while waiting for your car to be worked on next door. Took a star away and the sausage came out cool.
