More like a 3.5 We love Lilly's tacos, making it our usual food stop when we are in the area. The Goleta location is a little closer to the freeway; and with two rambunctious toddlers we figured it would be our best bet. I tried the steamed beef for the first time, and it was YUM. Moist, soft and not chewy at all, it was a perfect stopping snack before we continued our drive. Our kiddos even tried finishing off my portion because it was so good. The reason for the three stars was because on the way back, we figured we couldn't get enough of a good thing and decided to make another stop to chow down. Unfortunately this time my steamed beef resembled hardened pieces of meat actually almost thought it was like a pan fried carnitas. This inconsistency made me a little sad. Overall, if everything remains consistent, this place is great and a good option if you don't want to go to the one in SB.

Absolutely delicious tacos! Their small menu allows them to be experts!!! The salads were amazing too!

Pretty amazing tacos and not surprising since that is clearly their focus! Service was quick and efficient. Great condiments bar! Super busy with a line out the door and plenty of indoor seating. Family-friendly and not too noisy in dining area because everyone is eating their food!
