Bidrage med feedbackI have heard and read amazing reviews about Mr. Miner 's sandwiches so it pains me to write this review. I have made the trip from Arvada three times for the sole purpose of trying their sandwiches (also a convenient excuse to visit Cannonball Creek Brewery, one of the best in the metro area), but in each case I was turned away. The first time I showed up for a late dinner, but not within one-half hour of their advertised closing time, only to find that they had closed early. I thought, no big deal, things happen, and I had a burger from one of the other stalls in the food hall. The second time I showed up and the entire food hall was closed due to a utility issue, I believe the power was out. Again, I thought, no big deal, this is completely out of their hands. I ate another burger, this time at Bob 's Atomic Burger. The third time was this earlier this week just before 2:00. I walked to the counter and the guy behind the counter was writing on what looked like the back of a receipt. I waited patiently for him to finish writing to place my order; however, when he was finished he showed me the paper which stated that they were closing for 30 minutes for lunch and said something along the lines of, unfortunately, we are closing for 30 minutes for lunch . I said something along the lines of, Really? This is the third time I 've tried eating here and I haven 't been able to . He said nothing as I walked away deflated. Under normal circumstances I might have waited the thirty minutes, but between the past failures and the fact that I was on my lunch break and the drive alone had taken me 15 minutes, I couldn 't wait.I 've never written an online review, good or bad, and I waited three days to write this in an effort to ensure I wasn 't being too big of a Ken/Kevin. Maybe the fact that I wrote this proves I failed, I am not sure. I just don 't understand, if you are running a lean restaurant and you need to close so that your employees can have their much deserved and legally mandated lunch break, why don 't you include that in your advertised hours of operation? Even if they were understaffed that day, which, obviously, is still an issue in the post-covid food industry, shouldn 't you help the customers that are in line before you post that you are closing for lunch? Or better yet, shouldn 't you anticipate the need to close once you realize you are short staffed and post the times you will be closed first thing? I am a public employee whose job includes customer service and I would never turn someone away that was in line before I posted that I was going on break. At the very minimum, I would post my break and finish helping the people in line, but, in reality, I would also help anyone that lined up after posting my break.Maybe it 's just the latent frustration from the previous two failed attempts at eating at Mr. Miners combined with being turned away the third time, but my desire to make the effort to try their food in the future has been completely eliminated. I am sure all the positive reviews are true, but I just don 't have it in me to try again.
Big fan of this place!! Everything is high quality and delicious. Would highly recommend any of the sandwiches and the prosciutto with burrata!
The Italian Soppressata has it all. Sweetness, a little spiciness, savory, salty, acid, crunch… easily one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Cannot recommend it enough.
Delicious food made fresh. One of the best turkey sandwiches I've ever had. It's inside a food hall. Very cool atmosphere.
A bit pricy but one of the better sandwiches you will ever have! Good sized portions too!
