You Japanese Restaurant - Gold Coast

I have visited Japan about 11 times in the last 40 years, so you can trust me when I say that this restaurant is truly authentic and excellent. It has a focus on Osaka cuisine favorites, in addition to a casual family atmosphere and a wide selection of izakaya tapas-style dishes. The prices are quite reasonable, and both of my weeknight visits were filled with Japanese guests, which is always a good sign. I highly recommend giving it a try! Peter McConvill

If you haven't been here you must get here soon... I used to say the best Japanese Restaurant on the Gold Coast.. After yet another sensational dinner last night I'm gonna say You is one of the best Restaurants I've ever eaten at no matter what the cuisine... Chef Sato is a genius

Fantastically fresh! Great friendly service and a range of Sake choices also stays open a little later than others in surfers.

Second meal here in just a few days and our little group has been thoroughly impressed both times. Beef, chicken, pork and sashimi are all excellent.

Our dining experience at this restaurant over the weekend was absolutely amazing, we even returned during our holiday because we were so impressed. The food, especially the sashimi, was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. The service was efficient and friendly, and the restaurant had an authentic atmosphere that made us feel like we were in Japan. We would love to eat here every day! Overall, this is the best Japanese restaurant we have dined at in all of Australia.
