Taj Palace Restaurant - Gold Coast

Amazing food. Just loved the place rather PALACE. Staff was really kind and cooperative. A very recommended restaurant.

A bad customer service experience waitress more interested in lying, and arguing, then resolving a bill discrepancy. Turned a simple situation into a very awkward, and overt argument before my eyes, and it was completely bemusing, and uncomfortable. The food otherwise, was tasty, so it’s a shame the service let it down. It’s difficult to know how it can feel understaffed with two seated customers, but it did.

Waited an extraordinarily long time for a starter of poppadoms, which were less than satisfactory (not fresh) and a warm beer. Clearly understaffed, one staff member serving us and disappearing to the kitchen for a long time. When staff decided to check on us, we were offered a new plate of poppadoms and fresh beer as she told us she admits the fridge was only just turned on. 20 minutes later, still no new beer and no poppadoms! Main meals finally came and they were delicious. When we asked for the bill, we disputed regarding the new poppadoms which we were offered and never received. Apparently we hadn’t asked for new ones when we were waiting the entire time?! Have never witnessed hospitality staff challenging their customers about being a lier before. Unfortunately the unprofessionalism and customer service overshadowed the food that did taste good. Will not be coming back here again

Insanely good. Seriously it’s awesome. It’s not like so many of these Indian restaurants that dump sugar into yogurt and call that curry. No. This is the real deal. Spicy and full of flavour as it should be! The only negative reviews are competitors threatened by this place. Rather than improve, it’s easier to try and hurt these guys. Don’t let them win people. Flock to this place as it’s awesome and they deserve it. THIS IS THE BEST INDIAN FOOD THIS SIDE OF THE PACIFIC. WE TRAVEL ALL OVER . This is outstanding!

I attended a friend's kids birthday party at this restaurant. I enjoyed every single dish they served from starters to the main course. Absolutely delicious food. Authentic and well presented. We will surely visit your restaurant again, soon :
