Thanners - Göttingen

Absolutely iconic pub in the heart of Göttingen. We were kindly served and the price/performance is also really recommended. We'll be back soon.

Best bar in Gö. The many wood makes a rustic atmosphere, the staff fits perfectly well on one (we two girls have been addressed by someone who has not left loose and the staff has helped). There might be a few more cocktails to choose from.

I was just there and wanted to let the evening sound out. I liked the facility very well because it looks cozy and invites you to stay. When I was given up and delivered the order, I had to pay immediately, although I said I would like to stay a little longer. That's what happened here. After the 2nd order, I had to pay again, even though the manual had seen that I had enough money with me. I also noticed the very bad online connection. The phone had only one bar from time to time, and that with a network of Deutsche Telekom. I was told this was normal. Then I looked at the W-LAN. There was a possibility, however, that was encrypted. I couldn't get the password. I think it's a shame. I'll never visit this place again.

My colleague and I had to leave the bar after the waiter unannounced my beer (from the table), turned over to the street and yelled at us that we have to leave here. I can't explain it differently except that he is a person with racist thoughts. This was my first visit to the bar and Göttingen in general.
