I had the WORST service here! or should I even say no service! we found this place in yelp. the pictures of eating and place looked very welcoming, but.

Eating here is not bad, but somehow I don't think it's great. the atmosphere is beautiful with lots of wood. the food is kartoffel base and the potato soup.

Based on their reviews here I visited this place during in gorlitz. the atmosphere is very friendly and the menu interesting. the prices are not too high and.

I had the WORST service here! Or should I say NO service at all! We found this place in Yelp. The pictures of food and place looked very inviting but unfortunately our whole experience was far beyond HORRIBLE. I dont want to be biased but Ive been living in Germany for 1.5 years now, and I've been to many places in Europe. I've visited 15 countries and found that Germany has the worst customer service, and this place is a perfect example of it. We came on a Friday night, and the place was busy but nothing unusual for a Friday. They had two waitress and we were sat down promptly. The waitress gave us a menu. It's very typical for German restaurants to ask you what you want to drink as soon as you sit down. But I figured that the waitress wanted to give us a few minutes to look at the menu. We sat down for 30 minutes and no one bothered to come back. We waited patiently, tried to make eye contact with the waitress to signal that we want to order, but no one came. The people around us had empty Bier glasses and were waiting for the waitresses to get an order. We watched people walk around, and the waitress do their jobs. I have to say that they were very unorganized and didn't know how to deal with people properly. We didn't want to waste another minute waiting so we left. I have tried to give credit/kudos to German people when it comes to courtesy, politeness and customer service but it very rare. You might as well go to a Metzgerei and have better luck getting food faster! Very POOR and UNORGANIZED customer service. There are so many restaurants around, find another place!!!

Food here is not bad, but somehow I find it also not great. The atmosphere is nice though with lot of wood. The food is potato based and the Potato soup is not to bad. Take a small one with sausage or big (lot more soup) without as in that case it is just 2 whole knacks in soup Steak was ok, could have used some seasoning but I would recommend the brat kartoffel with onion and bacon.
