Owner has about 20 grain fed pigs and he slaughters one of them every couple weeks. The result is a small menu of Roast Pork and Wiener Schnitzel with dumplings and side salads, but what this guy does, he does very well. We had some of each and it was simply excellent. The perfect place for anyone who wants an authentic taste of Austrian home cooking and farm fresh cuisine. His father brought out some toys for our son to play with and we had a long chat with the owner when he added up the bill, the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly despite it clearly be full of locals from the village. 40 euros for 3 meals including drinks, portion size was slightly less than might get elsewhere, but the quality of the meat was outstanding. A nice find that I wanted to share with other English speakers. You 'll need a car to get there. I didn 't ask about opening hours, but I was there from 11am to 1pm on a Sunday.
