Papa John's Pizza - Gloucester

I have ordered delivery from this location multiple times this year, and each time has been excellent! The pizza and sides arrive quickly and very hot. One night it came so quickly I couldn't believe it! The pizzas taste better than Pizza Hut or Dominos.

**** pizza, the wedges have changed to tasteless rubbish. Remember the advert love your pizza or get another delivered free. What a load of tosh. The hotdog pizza (v) tasted like mustard on a roll. Sparse hotdog, but told it was done to spec. PJ used to be 2 3 times a week. Haven’t used them for a couple of months. Doubt I will. The argument on the phone had me telling them how to cook wedges. As a chef, I asked them if they wanted me to come down and show them how to cook proper pizzas. This store cares more about money than anything else. Only purchase a franchise if you’re in it for the love of the food industry, because you’re in it for the long run.

I recently tried a pizza from this restaurant after a long time. Unfortunately, it was not very good. I paid for extra cheese X 2 but there was not much cheese on it at all. I also tried the new marmite stuffed crust and it was awful, extremely bitter. I think it's time they introduced a garlic and cheese stuffed crust instead. It's disappointing because they have all the ingredients to make a great pizza but they just can't seem to get it right. I will be going to another branch in the future.

I Like PJ 's pizza, just not from this branch. You can order a pizza with particular toppings, etc , ask for it a certain way, then 1 minute later, as you watch them make it, they totally dis-regard what you ask for..... The whole thing of if they screw up your order, you 'll get another one to compensate , well, I don 't want to spend 30 min 's in a pizza delivery shop, as a customer, I want you to get the order right the 1st time!.. However, when I do decide to use these idiots, its the same old, dry crusty pizza as the words Xtra sauce fall on multiple deaf ears. Franchise owners seriously damage this good brand.

I know why this joint has only two stars. Very rude customer service and bad English. Delivery driver cannot use an intercom. Lied when called back. Pizza when it was finally delivered was cold and in poor state. Not recommended.
