Costa Coffee - Gloucester

This is my favourite go to place when I want an hour to myself to have a coffee and relax. Friendly staff, excellent coffee and a nice clean and pleasant atmosphere.

I was on my way from North Wales to the South of England and made a short pit-stop here on my way. There was a friendly young lady behind the counter, who was alone and worked hard, but still was cheerful and smiling. It was enough to cheer you up.

Went to get a coconut flat white on Saturday, 19th Nov afternoon. 6 member of staff were on shift. It took 25 minutes to make my drink even then they made it drink In instead of take away. Very unorganised, no leader or 1 person who would have controlled the other team members. Few of them were laughing loud at the back while 1 person (short blonde hair) was making the drinks. (Continuously touching her hair thought). Other people were waiting with me at the same time, joking that they have gone to Brasil to get the coffee beans. Absolutely shocking experience, not considering going back in a short while. I’d recommend for the management team to visit the store and provide proper customer service training for these young girls, teach them how to behave and deal with customers.

Staff not attentive, I had asked for a smoll drink and they served me medium. In addition to that they also kept the rest that I had not decided to give them

Had breakfast there with family during a visit to Gloucester and we were impressed as how over the board the staff went. One of the drinks was slightly later (by like 2mns) and they gave us free cake to compensate! The staff was friendly and the food/drinks represented the brand well. Will definitely go back.
