Leonardo's Pizza - Gloucester

Ordered delivery online at 6:15 with a 45 minute estimate, called at 7:30 to check on the pizza and was told that they hadn’t started making it. At 8:15 and after multiple unanswered calls, I went to the store to follow up and the employee Ralph that answered the phone earlier was nowhere to be found, and nobody seemed to know anything. They gave me a refund but when we finally got the pizza (delivered at 8:40) it wasn’t even good. Too soupy for a chicken broccoli alfredo. Overall 0/10 experience. Mid pizza and the employees will lie straight to your face.

Best Deep Dish Pizza I've ever had. Outstanding. They have a juicy Steak and Cheese the workers are amazing. I recommend their Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza (takes 30 to 40 minutes to make). When I come here again, I'll have to do meet with it. I did a plain cheese and it was amazing, I can only imagine meat with it. Great place!

Exactly what you'd hope for walking into a local pizza shop. Clean, welcoming, and straight to the point. Warm slices and friendly faces are the first thing you see the second you enter.They don't waste time on keeping the work out of sight. Backup stacks of refreshments next to a fully stocked refrigerator. Clean and well ordered kitchen. Clearly displayed food safety standards and Boxes stacked neatly near handful of tables. No frills is a big plus for a place like this in my opinion, especially when it translates to good prices and a menu with plenty of variety.The stand out star was the old workhorse stand mixer in the back, clearly well maintained, and one of the working owners tending to the kitchen and pumping out orders himself. I only stopped by for a slice of cheese, and was impressed with the texture of the house made dough and well balanced ratio of cheese and sauce on the NY style slice.Ill certianly be a return customer.

First time ordering and I must say that Dil was super nice handling the call while taking my order. Pizza was delicious as well as the Philly Cheese Sub with Mushroom, Green Pepper and Onion. The Buffalo Wings as well as the Garden Salad was also on point. Dil also sent me goodies on my order. What a surprise. Will definitely order from here again. There’s a lot of competition out there, but not a great service like the one I received today. Thank You!

Ever since there has been new ownership in 2023 the quality of the pizza has gone down. The crust is no longer homemade. It tastes like Papa Ginos pizza; nothing special like it used to be. The service people are rude.
