Captains Grill - Glenwood

Compared to other reviews, our experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The service was lacking and the food, especially the grilled chicken salad, was below average. However, the view of the lake and the option for both outdoor and indoor seating were highlights.

We went to the restaurant for the Friday night fish and chips special and we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere and service were fantastic!

The restaurant was very busy during the meat raffle, but our group of 10 had a fantastic experience. Our waitress was excellent and we were very pleased with the service. The food was also delicious. We will definitely be returning.

We had the chicken Alfredo special. The food was cold! The Alfredo was awful! We didn't eat it. We talked to server who was awesome by the way. All that was offered was 20%discount for food that was not eaten and send back. Will not be eating here again!!

We rented the boat and celebrated our 40th anniversary with about 50 members of our family. I would highly recommend them! Food and drinks were good! Staff was very professional and everything was ready to go for us when we arrived. Everyone enjoyed the cruise! The only negative thing was the stairs going to the top deck was very steep and some people didn?t feel they could go up for that reason.
